A wonderfully travelled hard-sided suitcase plastered in original ocean-liner, airline and grand-hotel labels, including Svenska Amerika Linien (Swedish American Line), TCA Trans-Canada Air Lines and numerous European hotels from Budapest to Evian. Leather-edged corners, stitched trim and domed rivets frame a black body that wears decades of journey-earned patina. The labels are authentic period survivors—not modern repros—and give the case a cinematic, wanderlust feel that works brilliantly for retail display, styling and Old Money / maximalist interiors.
Condition is timeworn and decorative: scuffs, scratches and edge wear throughout; losses and flaking to many labels; one side with heavier abraded patches; handle with age and surface cracking; catches open/close (key present on a string but untested); interior is tatty with lining losses and torn straps as shown.
Displays proudly as-is and tells its story at a glance.
Approx. size: 55 × 16 × 34 cm (about 21.7" × 6.3" × 13.4").
