This sculptural piece is crafted in Andersen’s signature Disko metal alloy with a softly hammered finish and features a cast silvered medallion to the lid, displaying a stylised floral motif in gentle relief.
The box is lined with wood and has a gently curved profile—an elegant, tactile form typical of Andersen’s work. It makes a striking decorative object or catch-all for the desk or dressing table.
Condition: The hinge has broken away from the lid (see close-up photo) but the box still presents beautifully. Some marks, oxidisation, and patina consistent with age and use.
