Romantic vintage oval wall mirror with an ornate gilt frame, perfect for adding a bit of Parisian apartment drama to a hallway, bedroom or dressing corner. The cast frame has scrolling rococo-style flourishes at the crest and base, with a warm soft-gold finish that works beautifully with dark wood, rich painted walls and layered textiles. Condition is timeworn but decorative: there are scuffs, small chips and touch-ins to the gilt finish, a few paint specks to both frame and glass, and some marks and residue visible on the lower part of the plate. The back shows age and wear consistent with use, but the mirror is solid and ready to hang or lean as part of a gallery wall or above a console.
