Small but weighty vintage cast bronze Buddha, seated in meditation on a lotus base with one hand raised in blessing. The figure has fine incised detailing to the robes and hair and a mellow, darkened patina from age and handling, with warmer brass tones catching the light on the raised areas. It stands at approximately 10 cm high (around 4 inches), making it a perfect size for a small home altar, bookshelf vignette or desk companion, and it sits especially well in Japandi, wabi-sabi and boho interiors where a touch of calm, old-world metalwork works beautifully.

The piece appears to be mid 20th century, likely from the Himalayan region, cast in bronze or similar copper alloy with a hollow underside. Condition is good, decorative vintage: there is rubbing and light wear to high points, minor casting irregularities and some age-related marks and patina to the metal, all visible in the photos and part of its appeal.
