A powerful vintage, likely mid-20th century beaded mask from Cameroon, hand-carved in hardwood and densely decorated with tiny multicolour beads laid in rhythmic contour lines. The eyelids and mouth are formed from sheet metal plates, giving the face a compelling, half-closed expression. The interior shows honest age with tool marks, slotted eye openings and old fixing holes—great character and presence on the wall.

Displays superbly as sculptural wall art and pairs well with maximalist or global interiors.

Approx 30 cm (11¾") wide x 27 cm (10⅝") tall.

Good vintage condition with age-consistent wear: scattered bead losses, oxidation to metal elements, and minor chips/age lines to the wood. Solid and ready to hang.
