A charming vintage German mantel clock cast in bronze and modelled as two bears climbing against a tree trunk, with the clock face set into the trunk itself. The dark patinated bronze finish gives the piece a rich sculptural presence, making it equally attractive as a decorative animal sculpture and a functional clock.

The hollow cast bronze construction provides excellent detail while keeping the piece manageable in weight. The movement is marked Germany and is accessed via the rear brass plate. The clock is in good working order and presents well, with attractive age-related patina throughout.

Animal-themed clocks remain highly sought after for lodge interiors, cabin décor, maximalist collections, and woodland-inspired interiors. The playful bear motif makes this a particularly appealing decorative piece for collectors of wildlife art and unusual vintage clocks.
