The dramatic black grounds give the flowers an almost photographic intensity while retaining the softness and texture of hand-worked pastel.

Each artwork is individually signed vertically to the lower right, although the artist has not been identified. One retains an old Frosts for Furnishings retailer label to the reverse.

Presented in their original slim silver-coloured frames beneath glass. The restrained framing and bold graphic quality are particularly characteristic of mid-century interior decoration and the three work extremely well displayed together as a triptych.

Good vintage condition overall with some light age-related wear to the frame

Each framed piece measures approximately 52 × 32 cm (20.5 × 12.5 inches).
https://circusofcurios.com/products/vintage-1970s-original-pastel-rose-drawings-set-of-three-signed-floral-studies
