A handsome late-Victorian stationery cabinet in warm mahogany, the sloped twin fall-fronts opening to reveal tiered wavy-edged letter racks, a long pen tray and the original square glass inkwell with “London” cap. Both doors have the classic criss-cross ribbon retainers for notes and visiting cards. Compact and useful on a desk or console, it’s the perfect “old money” library accent that still works hard for modern post, bills and tech clutter.

Condition is sound and authentically timeworn. Exterior shows knocks, edge wear and surface marks from a century-plus of use; ribbons are aged with fray and slack; small losses and old ink stains inside; lock present but no key. Hinges are sturdy, doors open and close well, and the inkwell seats neatly in its well. Presents beautifully.
