A fantastic walnut sideboard by Jens Risom Design Limited. This multi-purpose sideboard epitomizes Scandinavian mid century modern: gorgeous woodgrain, expert craftsmanship, and highly functional design. The iconic black handles are carved from a dark hardwood.

Jens Risom is a Danish-American designer who is credited as having brought Danish design to America. He was trained at the Copenhagen School of Industrial Art and Design before moving to New York to become a founding member of Hans Knoll Furniture Company and then setting up Jens Risom Design.

The sideboard is a custom design, designed on behalf of an Edinburgh interior design company and bears the badge if the firm that commissioner it. In great condition apart from from some light marking and the roller mechanism from one of the drawers is not in place though it still functions perfectly fine. The keys are unfortunately missing.
