British portrait painter Sir Gerald Kelly went to Eton and studied art in Paris. Whilst travelling overseas he was inspired to create a series of paintings of Burmese dancers - of which this is one. He became a firm favourite with the royal family and has had his work displayed in the Tate Gallery. His pieces have become very collectable over the last decade and are now very sought after, making this a great investment piece.
