Excellent bronze sculpture of boy smoking a pipe on a marble base. Signed R Moret.

In good condition with a nice patina. Circa 1900.

The sculpture would have been made using the "loss wax" technique where the model is first crafted from wax, a clay mould is made around the wax and the wax is replaced with molten bronze.
