A charming Edwardian tabletop smoker’s cabinet in solid oak, neatly proportioned with a shallow arched cornice, bevel-edged glazed door and a sweet run of hand-carved flowers across the plinth. Inside is the original wooden rack with pipe rests/holes; ideal for a couple of briars or for repurposing as a tiny key or keepsake cupboard.
Original brass hinges and escutcheon; the door pulls open on the small wooden knob—no key present. Lovely mellow colour with gentle wear, small knocks and surface marks from use, all honest and in keeping with age. A perfect accent for a study, bar cart or “old money” library vignette.
Size: 26 x 19 x 16 cm (H x W x D).
