A handsome British industrial wall clock by Gents’ of Leicester, circa mid-20th century. The cream dial with bold Arabic numerals is signed “GENTS’ OF LEICESTER” and “MADE IN ENGLAND,” set behind a glazed brass bezel and mounted to a circular timber backboard with original hanging loop.
It retains its original slave/impulse movement and coil (wiring still present) on the reverse. Currently untested and not set up to run; ideal for display as-is, professional restoration, or a discreet quartz conversion if you prefer plug-and-play reliability.
Honest age to the dial with light spotting, small scuffs to the glazing, and general wear to the case and backboard that add to its factory character—see photos. A great statement piece for loft, studio, or office and a fine slice of British engineering heritage.
