Industrial temperature thermograph with clockwork chart drum and a remote-bulb sensor on a protective arm. The maker’s plate reads “Made in England – BSS 3231 – 0/100°F.” Heavy white-enamel steel case with side viewing windows and a chromed carry ring on top—proper lab-chic kit that looks superb on a shelf or bar back. Sold as a decorative scientific instrument; not tested for accuracy.

Condition is sound and authentically timeworn. The enamel shows scattered chips and scuffs, the chart paper inside is age-toned, and the protective cage for the sensor has old bends and paint wear. The side apertures are open with no glazing. Presents strongly with clean, functional lines.

Size reads directly from the tape in the photos: about 16.5 cm high, 30 cm long overall including the arm, and 13.5 cm wide across the case.
