A rare late 19th century Japanese Meiji period (1864-1911) beaten copper (tsuiki doki) dish. The dish has raised crinkled edges and the shape of a dragon fly and a beatle wandering over the uneven surface.
A hook has been added to the reverse so that it can be hung on a nail and displayed on a wall.
This unusual dish is in very good original condition. (Circa 1880)
