A striking large original abstract composition, probably dating from around the 70's. The work is executed in mixed media on paper, combining loose washes of colour with strong black linear drawing and areas of blue, green, pink and turquoise.

The composition has a distinctly modernist feel, with overlapping vessel-like and organic forms creating a lively semi-abstract arrangement. Particularly good decorative scale and a strong palette without being overly bright.

Presented behind glass in a simple silver-coloured metal frame. The work appears unsigned from what I can see. There are some light marks and age-related wear to the frame, but overall it presents very well.

Overall framed dimensions approximately 81 × 61 cm / 31.9 × 24 inches.
