An excellent C.1850 Victorian pastel portrait of a gentleman by a window, dressed in a tuxedo and holding onto a scroll, possibly in a coach carriage. In decorative wood and gesso frame and protected behind glass. Both the frame and artwork are in good condition.
Would make a great addition to a "dark academia" inspired space. Would also suit ecclectic / maximalist tastes. The quality of the pastel is very good and the colours are nice and vibrant.
