A charming early–mid 20th century Huntley & Palmers lithographed biscuit tin in deep ocean blue, the sides printed “Captain Cook Arrives at Tahiti in the Endeavour” with a golden galleon, palms and rising sun. The hinged lid carries a busy harbour scene in full colour, now beautifully time-softened. Stamped to the base: Huntley & Palmers Biscuits – Reading & London.

Perfect as a little keepsake box or to style a coastal/nautical vignette; the footprint is a handy 20 × 7 × 10 cm.

Condition is decorative with age-worn character: scattered scuffs, scratches and speckled oxidation, small paint losses and rubbing to edges; hinge sound and lid opens/closes well. Clean inside and ready to use for light storage.
