Wall piece made from original printers’ wooden type blocks, tightly packed and mounted behind glass in a simple softwood frame. It’s all genuine old letterpress blocks – you can see the ink staining, wear to the faces, different fonts and sizes, and the reversed characters (as they’d read on the press). The mix of chunky numerals, serif letters and that big X / 1 in the centre gives it a really graphic, almost abstract feel.

Overall size is approx. 32.5 cm wide by 52.5 cm tall. Ready to hang – there’s a small hook fixed to the back. Condition is honest and decorative: old print ink, knocks, little gaps and quirks in the assembly, light age marks to the timber frame. No modern repro blocks here – proper salvaged type from an actual print shop, turned into wall art.
