A bold and iconic piece of early telecommunications history, this Siemens Brothers No. 162 telephone is crafted from solid black Bakelite with a chrome rotary dial and original braided cord. A model synonymous with British telephone design of the 1920s and 30s, it carries all the weight and presence of an industrial era that prized both function and form.

The handset is marked with the Siemens London emblem and patent details, and the dial retains its original paper label. Please note: the receiver has been broken at some point in its long life and has been repaired with glue—this is visible but stable. Offered as a decorative piece and not tested for functionality.

A true statement object, perfect for adding vintage gravitas to a writing desk, hallway console, or film set.

Dimensions: approx. 24cm wide x 13cm deep x 15cm high

Condition: Receiver has been previously broken and repaired; general scuffs and signs of age throughout.
