Expressive hand-carved wooden horse in a dramatic kneeling pose, worked with bridle, peytral and layered caparison. The surface has a dry, chalky wash that picks up the tooling—great scale for a console, mantel or shop display. Likely early-20th century folk work with Indian/SE Asian influence; decorative and full of character.

Good decorative order with honest wear: small knocks to ears and hooves, scattered scuffs to the dry finish, age lines/shrinkage seams at joints (neck/quarters) and a few old nibbles to carved edges. Stands solidly; nothing structural.
