A striking antique Egyptian Revival urn or cache pot, beautifully combining a deep black glass body with ornate brass mounts in the form of opposing swan-headed handles wearing pharaonic headdresses. The elegant urn is further decorated with finely enamelled Classical Egyptian figures, stylised lotus flowers and colourful geometric ornament, all raised on an ornate brass plinth featuring winged scarab motifs and papyrus-inspired decoration.

A superb statement piece, equally suited as a vase, cache pot or stand-alone decorative object. The glass and brass remain in very good antique condition with only light age-related wear and patina consistent with age and use.
