Handsome Arts & Crafts oak mirror with an arched plate and carved foliate corners in a warm, quarter-sawn grain. Likely made c.1900–1915 (Edwardian period) and almost certainly re-purposed from a dressing chest mirror; now a striking wall mirror with loads of character. Later plain backboard in place
The glass shows gentle age to the silvering—light speckles and rubs—giving it that soft, authentic glow collectors love. The oak frame has a lovely mellow colour with minor knocks from use.
Width 23.5" (59.5 cm)
Height 14.75" (37.5 cm)
Good vintage condition: age marks to the plate, small scuffs/nibbles to the frame, later backboard; sound and ready to hang. Ill fit a hanger prior to shipping.
Perfect for the Arts & Crafts / Art Nouveau revival, and it slots right into old-money library and cottagecore interiors.
