A beautifully curved Art Deco display cabinet, dating to around the 1930s, featuring a bold and distinctive architectural silhouette. Crafted from richly figured walnut veneer, the cabinet’s design blends symmetry with softness—most notably in its dramatic dome-top shape and sweeping curved sides.

The twin glazed doors are adorned with classic Art Deco astragal mouldings in a fan formation, adding strong visual geometry to the front. Inside, the cabinet is fitted with three glass display shelves and offers a generous depth, making it ideal for showcasing ceramics, glassware, or treasured curiosities.

The wood grain is particularly attractive, with rippling patterns and a glowing, honey-toned patina. Original Bakelite or wood knob handles remain intact. One pane has a visible scratch to the glass (as shown), and there is some age-related wear to the finish, particularly at the top and base edges—but overall, it presents very well.

This piece would be a showstopper in any vintage-inspired or maximalist interior—perfect for collectors, shop displays, or as a standalone statement piece.

128cm high x 121cm wide x 34cm deep

Condition:
Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age. Notable scratch to one door pane and some scuffing to the top and lower edges. Shelves secure and glass intact.
