The restrained case design, metal feet and geometric dial give the clock a particularly nice understated Art Deco character.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe rear door opens to reveal the original mechanical movement, pendulum and coiled gong. The clock is in good working order, with the movement running as it should. The striking mechanism sounds on the gong.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe case has general age-related wear, including small scratches, marks, rubbing and minor discolouration to the timber. There is some age-related marking and patination to the dial and metalwork, all consistent with its age.
