A striking antique bronze Yab-Yum sculpture depicting Shiva and Parvati in intimate embrace, dating from the early 20th century. This evocative Himalayan and Hindu devotional image represents the union of masculine and feminine energies, wisdom and compassion, and is among the most recognisable forms of Tantric iconography.

The sculpture is finely cast with multiple arms, expressive facial features and a dynamic dancing posture above a lotus-form base. The warm bronze surface has developed an attractive aged patina, while the openwork lotus pedestal adds visual depth and craftsmanship.
