A lovely heavyweight pewter jug with decorative handle and the lid surmounted by a bronze casting of a poppy pod. Made by James Dixons and Sons in Sheffield England. Nice aged patina with some signs of ware as can be seen in the photos. Would look great displayed on a shelve in a farmhouse style kitchen and could be used for tea, coffee, milk or anything else.
