A beautiful late Victorian Duplex oil lamp with an ornate cast metal font and pedestal base, retaining its original Duplex burner, clear glass chimney and an attractive frosted pink frilled glass shade. The richly decorated cast body features classical scrolling foliage and floral ornament, giving the lamp an elegant and substantial appearance.
The burner is marked Duplex and remains in good working order, with the wick mechanism operating smoothly. It is complete with its clear chimney, matching frosted frilled shade and glass oil reservoir, making it ready for display or use with the appropriate lamp oil.
