The interior is now open and usable for general storage, with remnants and wear from its previous fittings visible inside.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe original brass lock and small circular keyhole fitting remain to the front. The exterior has a wonderfully aged surface with mellow colour, patination to the brass and the knocks, marks and wear expected from a Victorian piece that has seen considerable use.
