A charming antique pottery bulldog still bank. The coin slot is positioned on the top of the head, with the bank originally intended to be emptied by breaking it. the slot has been expanded at some point to empty it. The black-painted finish has worn attractively over the years, revealing its age and giving the piece an authentic folk art appearance. There is age-related paint loss and surface wear throughout, together with a chip to one ear.
