A handsome antique oval wall mirror with a beautifully aged metal frame in a pewter tone finish, detailed with a softly textured surface and small applied decorative mounts. It has a strong, understated look that works especially well in darker layered interiors, whether you lean towards castlecore, old money or an Arts and Crafts influenced room. The simple oval plate and restrained ornament give it presence without feeling too fussy, making it an easy piece for a hallway, bedroom, cloakroom or above a chest.

This one has a lovely timeworn surface and honest age throughout. There is visible wear and patina to the frame, some rubbing and marks, a visible join to the rim, and light age-related wear to the mirror plate and reverse, all shown in the photographs. It retains its hanging loops to the back and displays with plenty of character.
