A handsome early 20th-century oak tabletop cabinet, probably dating to around 1900–1920. The tall rectangular case has a particularly nice panelled front made up of narrow vertical sections of figured oak, with simple moulded top and base and a small metal escutcheon.

The door opens to reveal a plain fitted interior with two shelves, giving three useful storage compartments. Working lock and key.

There is attractive age and patination throughout, with the usual small knocks, scratches and surface marks from use.
