A beautiful little antique miniature chest of drawers, made in warm honey-toned walnut and fitted with lovely pressed-metal swan-neck handles. With two short drawers over three long, it reads like a perfectly proportioned Georgian or Victorian chest in miniature – ideal on a desk, dressing table or sideboard for jewellery, sewing notions or small collections. Pieces like this were often used as apprentice pieces or shop / haberdashery cabinets and it has exactly that “curiosity shop” presence that works so well with dark academia and old-money interiors.

In good, honest condition for its age with a rich, well-handled surface. There are small knocks to the edges and moulded plinth, light scratches and marks to the top - all exactly what you want from a genuine antique miniature. Stands on four small bun feet.
