A fascinating piece of early technology, this barograph was used to record atmospheric pressure to predict the weather and was made circa 1880. Made by R L Rennison in Sunderland. Unfortunately there seems to be an issue with the movement that rotates the barrel so it is no longer functional but still makes an excellent piece of décor.
