Antique Japanese Bronze Basket Vase

Excellent Japanese bronze basket effect vase.

Made using the ancient lost wax process where the object being made is first carved from wax, a clay mould is made around the wax, the wax is melted out and then the wax is replaced with molten bronze.

In good condition with a lovely patina.
