Interesting early 19th century Indian cast bronze spoon, the handle in the form of 2 figures and the bowl of the spoon featuring a dancing deity, perhaps Kali.
This spoon would have been made using the lost wax technique where the statue is first crafted from wax, a mould is created using the wax statue and the wax is melted and emptied and then the cavity filled with molten bronze.
Supplied with acrylic stand.
