A handsome early 19th century mahogany tea caddy in classic sarcophagus form, standing on brass ball feet with a stepped plinth base and domed lid. The interior features two lidded compartments with turned bone finials, and the original ribbed green lining remains intact to the lid. Complete with a diamond-shaped bone escutcheon to the front.
