A richly detailed antique brass charger with finely incised decoration across its entire surface. The centre features stylised floral and foliate designs bordered by a circle of small medallions, each containing a figure or animal, with further rows of decorative roundels radiating out to the scalloped rim. The level of detailing suggests Middle Eastern or Indian origin, and the reverse is plain with a warm, aged patina. There are a few darkened spots to the front and light surface wear as shown, but overall it displays beautifully.

Measures approx. 10.5" in diameter (27 cm).

Likely dates to the early 20th century.
