A beautifully characterful antique carved wooden crucifix, set with a silver-tone metal corpus and INRI plaque, and finished with a dramatic openwork cross form that reads wonderfully “Gothic Revival” on a shelf, mantel, or altar table. The stepped base gives it real presence, and the aged surface and tool marks make it feel properly devotional and handmade rather than factory-perfect—ideal for the current Dark Academia / monastic study / gothic interior look, where one strong object can anchor an entire vignette.

Height 43 cm (16.9"). Condition is good for age with honest wear and patina. There is historic woodworm visible (notably to the base) which has been treated, leaving the typical small flight holes as part of its history—please see photos up close. A strong display piece with lots of atmosphere.
