A wonderfully sculptural antique candlestick telephone in black with its original-style hanging receiver and flared speaking mouthpiece, full of honest age and that unmistakable early-telecom silhouette. It’s exactly the kind of object that instantly sells the “dark academia / steampunk study” look—perfect on a desk, in a library nook, or as a film/theatre prop with real presence.

As found, with surface wear, scuffs and small marks consistent with age and use, there is a piece cracked off from the handset (please see photos), and the handset/cord shows similar timeworn character. Total height approx. 29 cm (about 11.4 in).
