A deep sea-green hand-blown fishing float with its original natural-fibre net, showing a classic pie-seal button impressed FGC. Collectors generally attribute this stamp to Forsters Glass Co. of St Helens, England, and the look fits inter-war British production. The glass has lovely waviness, tiny bubbles and working scuffs from service, and the net retains an even honey tone with a few loose ends that add to the authenticity. No cracks or starbursts noted—just the honest surface wear you want on a genuine, worked float.
Size is approximately 12 cm in diameter (about 4¾"). It displays beautifully on a shelf, in a bowl of beach finds, or hung in a window where the green really glows.
