The lamp has a substantial circular brass base, elegant curved stem and an articulated knuckle joint allowing the upper arm and shade to be repositioned.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe original-looking black metal hooded shade gives it a particularly good industrial \/ institutional appearance, while the brass has been left with its naturally aged dark patina rather than being highly polished. A small toggle switch is fitted directly into the base.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe lamp has been rewired with fabric-covered flex and modern plug (plug adaptor supplied for US customers).
