A scarce exhibition catalogue produced for André Minaux’s solo exhibition at the David B. Findlay Galleries in New York, held from 6–24 November 1962.
The catalogue includes text by French art critic George Besson together with black-and-white illustrations and six original colour lithographs by Minaux. The lithographs were printed in Paris by the celebrated Mourlot workshop and include two double-page compositions, one forming the pictorial cover.
The catalogue contains 67 pages and presents Minaux’s distinctive post-war figurative work, including portraits and still-life subjects. The softly coloured floral cover and striking internal lithographs make it both a desirable artist’s publication and a highly decorative example of mid-century printmaking.
Presented in its original illustrated soft covers. There is light rubbing, creasing and wear around the spine and edges, together with minor age-related marking. The pages and illustrated plates shown appear clean and well preserved.
