Antique Afghan Baluch (Baluchi) tribal rug, hand-knotted in wool, with a crisp diamond lattice field and small stylised motifs in rust, walnut, ink brown and flashes of indigo/sky blue. Likely woven in Northern/Western Afghanistan with Baluch influence (Herat–Farah / Khorasan region), early 20th century. It’s a perfect “Dark Academia / Brown Revival” piece—moody, graphic and grounded—ideal for an entryway, beside the bed, or under a desk where you want instant character without something too loud.
Condition is quite worn but I think that this adds to its charm ant it has lots of life left in it.
Measures approx. 188 x 116 cm (74.0" x 45.7")
