This lovely baluch prayer rug from Afghanistan features a geometric design and is hand knotted from wool in red and orange hues. Dating from the first half of the last century and knotted from wool on a wool foundation. The rug shows some signs of ware including areas of low pile but it still has lots of life left in it.
