Original advertising mirror featuring the classic Capstan Navy Cut packet design (W.D. & H.O. Wills, Bristol & London), set in a wonderfully timeworn teal-painted wooden frame. It’s the kind of piece that instantly upgrades a room with that old money pub-core / dark academia look—perfect behind a drinks trolley, in a snug, kitchen, hallway, or layered into a maximalist gallery wall. Dating from the 20's or 30's.
Condition shows honest age and use: the mirror glass has light surface marks/scratches and scattered spotting consistent with vintage mirrored pieces, and the painted frame has knocks, rubs and small areas of paint loss (see close-ups). The reverse is original and worn, with an old fitter’s label present, and it’s ready to hang.
Measures 46 x 56 cm (approx 18.1 x 22 in).
