Richly detailed and beautifully woven, this small vintage wool prayer rug from Afghanistan features a striking architectural mihrab design in deep red, black, and ivory, framed by a series of intricate geometric borders. The high knot density and fine detailing suggest excellent craftsmanship, with a crisp, clear design on both front and reverse.

Made from soft wool, it has a dense pile with excellent clarity and warmth of tone—perfect for layering in a maximalist space, draping over furniture, or using as a feature runner in a hallway or beside a bed.
