Excellent Chinese Ming Dynasty style elm wood butterfly cabinet from the 19th century, with carved spandrels, drawers, doors.
A very well crafted substantial piece of furniture built to last many century's. The cabinet has lovely wear to the top and a dark rich patina. Signs off use consistent with age but no damage or sign of woodworm that I can detect.
