An exceptional Victorian example of the Aesthetic Movement, constructed of burled walnut, maple and ebonized hardwood.
Features include a raised beveled mirrored back, turned gallery balusters, lots of shelves, a and stunning amboyna and marquetry inlaid satinwood door panels. Thought to be designed by Henry William Batley (1846 - 1932), and probably made by Gillow & Co.
Breaks in two for transport, comes with original key.
