The page edges are gilt, giving the enormous volume a particularly impressive appearance. A wonderful decorative antique book as well as an interesting piece of early Victorian publishing.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe book is in well-used antique condition with considerable rubbing, scuffing and surface wear to the leather. The spine and joint have previously been repaired and the repair remains visible, with further wear and losses around this area.
